BREAKING: Finally, Jangebe Schoolgirls Released By Abductors, Governor Matawale Confirms
After, rumoured release of the the schoolgirls kidnapped from Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talatu-Mafara local government area of Zamfara state at the weekend, the state Governor, Dr. Bello Matawalle, has announced their release early morning Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
He confirmed their release, via of his Twitter handle.
According to his tweet, “Alhamdulillah! It gladdens my heart to announce the release of the abducted students of GGSS Jangebe from captivity. This follows the scaling of several hurdles laid against our efforts. I enjoin all well-meaning Nigerians to rejoice with us as our daughters are now safe.”
Further details of the release of the over 317 Schoolgirls abducted were not given.
